What for other is trash for us is beauty; yesterday was a very special day at Rupa Wasi.

Our neighbor decided to chisel down a big stone in his property, which happened to be completely covered in orchids, ferns, moss, native plants and small flowers. We wasted no time; collect them to then place them, all over our lodge gardens.

Conscious and sustainable way to enrich our gardens, we encourage everybody to plant a tree.

Andean Wedding Ceremony

This our first Andean Wedding Ceremony held in Machu Picchu, a Shaman from the village of Keros, the town is one of Peru's most important since it is still preserved customs and traditions and are net transmitted from parents to children and generation to generation.
This ceremony was held at the Sanctuary of Machupicchu where magic is magic vibes and performed in the morning, the reception of the day was spectacular with blue sky and clouds around Machu Picchu and of course with the blessing of Father Sun, bright sunshine and wonderful as you can see in the photos.
This ceremony was performed by Rupawasi, Richard and Nikki took the good times in this celebration and were very excited about getting married in Machupicchu.

A super experience, gorgeaous rooms, the best food I have had in a long time, and exceptional hospitality. I felt like I was living in a tree house paradise - didn't even mind the rain. Since I could watch it from my lovely balcony, along with the tree where I saw both buterflies and humming birds! Wish I could spend another night here - you really have something special going on and I will recommend it to anyone coming here!

Thank you so much for making our time here wonderful. The rain and mist just made it more magical. The rooms are lovely, and sitting on our balcony watching the mountain & humming birds was beautiful. The massage was so relaxing but the highlight was our cooking lesson and hanging out with the guys in the restaurant, sharing stories, drinks and judging the brownie competition.

Thank you for opening you hearts & kitchen to us. Our stay was short, but we have such beautiful memories of you all. The birthday cake for Marco and the quick lunch waiting for the train were special touches.
